About Pirate Radio

Pirate Radio is a Florida politics briefing site built for readers who want a clear starting point—and a visible route back to the source.

Source-led, not a pretend newsroom

We collect public RSS coverage from Florida-focused publishers. Original reporting belongs to those publishers. Pirate Radio provides links and, where available, automatically written short briefs. Separately labelled original articles can add public-document checks and analysis, with a reporting-method note and linked evidence.

Automatic publication

Sources are checked about every 8 hours. New eligible coverage appears automatically, and the Antonio Gallo writing desk processes a limited batch of fresh stories per refresh. Stories appear after an original, attributed summary is available. If writing is unavailable, the last published edition remains online.

News, opinion, and political claims

Commentary explicitly marked in source feeds is excluded. The writing instructions require attribution for allegations and political claims, and prohibit invented facts, quotes, and first-hand reporting. These automated checks do not replace human verification.

What “live updates” means

The updates page shows source stories published within the last 24 hours. Times use America/New_York. A story’s source publication time and the site’s last collection check are shown separately. Newly discovering an older story does not make it breaking news.

Corrections and changed sources

If a source changes its supplied headline or text, a previously generated brief is reset and can be regenerated. The source link remains the reference for the current full report. Readers should consult that reporting for corrections and complete context.

Privacy

There are no accounts, subscriber forms, advertising trackers, or analytics scripts on this site. The web server can retain ordinary technical access logs. Clicking an external source or resource takes you to a site with its own policies.
