Behind the byline
Antonio Gallo
A clear voice for the briefing. An honest explanation of who—or what—is writing it.
Antonio Gallo is Pirate Radio’s editorial pen name for automatically generated briefs. It is not the identity of a human reporter. There is no invented biography, press credential, or claim of first-hand reporting behind this name.
The voice
Concise, direct, and focused on the decisions affecting Florida. Briefs aim to describe what a source reports, attribute claims, and avoid turning political labels into the site’s own voice.
The work
The writing system uses bounded text supplied by a publisher’s feed. It creates an original short headline and an attributed summary when the source provides enough information. Every brief includes the original reporting link. Separately labelled original pieces can review public documents and develop an independent analysis; each explains its methods and unresolved questions.
The limits
Briefs publish automatically without pre-publication human review. They are not independently corroborated reporting. AI can make mistakes or miss context, so use the source links to check the underlying report. A headline without a generated brief is labelled “Source headline” and is not attributed to Antonio Gallo.
